Look at the picture at the top. It's a bird, but it has two names: 'raven' or 'crow'. Why is this important to you? Because of the 'raven' rule when writing the verb 'to affect' or the noun 'an effect'.
Here's the rule:
𝙍 ... Remember
𝘼 ... Affect (is the)
𝙑 ... Verb.
𝙀 ... Effect (is the)
𝙉 ... Noun.
